I was born and raised in sunny (and cold) Toronto. I began my career in modeling at 18 when I was scouted on the street to do an ad for Kappa sportswear. After that came a whirlwind of opportunities. I began working as a spokes model for many alcohol companies when I was 19 and hosted conventions as well. I was approached by many photographers at these events and soon began doing photo shoots on a regular basis. I really liked being in front of the camera, dancing around with my iPod blaring.

Throughout all this, I continued my education although I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do professionally. I completed high school and went to college for advertising but I just didn’t enjoy life in an office. I still love media related work, I just prefer to have my own schedule.

And so, Michelleryann.com was created.
